Chart desk
Seventy-five minutes, one chart.
The private desk is a lacquered table under a copper lamp. A brass rail runs along the near edge, left from the room’s older fittings. On it: one printed chart, a pencil, a copper ruler, and the journal.

What is already there when you arrive

The daily print for the instrument named at booking, dated for the session. Extra sheets stay in a folder, face down, until the month allows a Friday glance at the weekly.

A pencil and a copper ruler. Ink is discouraged because erasure is part of week two. The ruler is for a straight level, not for forcing a trendline.

The bound journal, opened to the last completed page. If this is week one, it is opened to a blank checklist.

How the hour is divided

Arrival
You sit on the window side. Coats go on the hook by the velvet curtain so the ruler has room. If you came from the MRT, there is water on the sideboard; the checklist does not start until you are actually at the page.

Checklist, read aloud
The six lines are spoken. A vague edit — “bias” slipped in where a level used to be — gets corrected before any new mark.

Markup
Swings first. You draw, then you stop. Niran asks for the one-sentence reason. Lines without a sentence are rubbed out while the hour still has time.

Invalidation
Each kept level receives the sentence that would retire it: a close beyond the level on the daily chart. You write it under the line, not in a separate app.

The next page
You date the next sheet and write the timeframe again, so the following session does not begin with a negotiation. Then the print is clipped into the journal and you take it home.
What to carry
The journal, once you have it. On week one, any old notes you want compared, and the name of the instrument. A laptop is unnecessary. If your older pages live on a phone, print three weeks before a journal review; the desk hour for coaching uses the academy print.
The room is quiet on purpose. Calls wait until you are back on Ratchadapisek.
