Field notes
Notes from the desk.
Short pieces on the same habits the sittings use: a checklist you finish, a few levels, a Friday page, and one timeframe kept for a month.
-
What belongs on the Friday review page
Five lines close the week. The page records what you did, not a new theory of the market.
-
Mark support and resistance before you add anything else
Two or three horizontal levels from obvious swings. Anything that needs a speech comes off the page.
-
Stay with one timeframe for a full month
A month on the daily chart makes the journal comparable. Smaller charts can wait until the pages match.
-
A pre-session checklist short enough to finish
Six lines, then the pencil stops. A longer checklist becomes the thing you skip.
